World Space Sustainability Association launched
Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, elseco Limited and Herbert Smith Freehill have publicly launched the World Space Sustainability Association (WSSA) during the International Astronautical Congress 2021 held in Dubai in October 2021.
The Association will welcome institutional and industry members to further its objectives which are:
to promote and enable business in Space and spur finance investments in a sustainable manner primarily;
to promote the understanding of Space sustainability globally; and
to encourage sustainable development of Space innovation and technology.
As a first action, the WSSA created the Onspace online platform to facilitate exchanges between individuals on all space-related subjects and create a community that can positively impact the space industry.
