elseco appoints new head to enhance claims team

elseco strengthens its team of senior management with the key appointment of Audrey Huchard as Head of Claims.
elseco is pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Huchard as the new Head of Claims. Audrey has been working in the insurance industry for more than 20 years and acquired a unique set of skills and experience in underwriting, claims and recently at elseco operations.
Since joining elseco in March 2021 as Aviation Operations Manager, Audrey has played an integral role in the success of the team, preparing her exceptionally well for this new appointment as the Head of Claims. In this new capacity she will be heading up a team of six and working closely with our Legal team.
After graduating from Law school, she commenced her career working for a consulting company providing strategic legal recommendations for French aerospace enterprises. In 2006, she joined the French MGA La Reunion Aerienne as an Aviation Underwriter. In 2008 Audrey moved to Airbus IRM in Munich as Senior Manager Aviation and Space Insurance, handling the group aviation insurance operations including contract and claims review. This was followed by a move to London in 2015 when she joined the aerospace underwriting team of Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) in London. From 2017 she headed the insurance department of the Aviation Lessor DVB Bank in London, where she was in charge of securing adequate insurance protection for the assets and the Bank, as well as for related claims coordination.
